click this thumbnail to see full sizetexture on wood

Study in close photography. I'm not too sure where I acquired this from but it hangs in my hall. I'm pretty sure it's from some building site where they were mixing concrete and cement on it. Flash bounced from the ceiling to emphasise the roughness of the texture.
Taken from approx 30cm

A slow exposure panning shot using motion blur to catch the power and movement of this powerful team, man and beast. Long shadows cast by the warm evening sun set a twilight scene of both this very day and the old man's 75 years. An autumnal sight which in Poland is sadly slowly passing into history. Only he old peasants still perform this noble labour manually, such is progress and modernisation. More's the pitty.
